CEO Chuck Bowlin updated the Greeneville Energy Authority board on solar projects with Silicon Ranch at their meeting yesterday morning.
He said two out of the four sites up until February have already saved a little over $46,000 compared to costs with the Tennessee Valley Authority. Work on the site on Reed Road is set to be complete by late 2024 according to Bowlin and the 4th site will be on a pause due to the moratorium. The 4th site will be reviewed after the moratorium and Bowlin said it could be in a different county.
