A homeless woman was arrested yesterday on West Summer Street after officers were notified of a woman going around Town Square asking for drugs in exchange for sexual favors.
The Greeneville Police Department responded about 3:30 PM and observed the female sitting in front of a barbershop. The suspect was behaving unusual and making erratic movements. When asked if she had taken anything illegal, she responded she took meth earlier that day.
She was arrested for her own safety and the publics and was charged with public intoxication.
