After a game-winning shot would lift the Greene Devils to a win in the opening round of the Arby’s Classic on Tuesday, Greeneville would run into a powerhouse out of Charlotte on Thursday in Myers Park and would suffer a defeat by a final score of 64-31.
Sir Mohammed, a rising prospect in the class of 2024, led the Mustangs in scoring with 16 points while Elijah Strong, a Wofford commit, would add 15 points and Sadiq White, a top 50 prospect in the class of 2025, would finish the game with 14 points.
Freshman Trey Thompson would lead Greeneville with 13 points and Adjatay Dabbs would add 10 in the loss for the Greene Devils.
Greeneville is still in the running for a 5th place finish and will return to action today in Bristol, Tennessee from Viking Hall as they’ll play Madison-Ridgeland Academy at 12:00 p.m. with coverage on 99.5 FM WGRV.
