A man from Greeneville was arrested yesterday afternoon after officers located his vehicle due to him using a siren like sound in attempt to clear traffic.
Dashawn Lowery was located by Officer Will Ervin from the Greeneville Police Department about 12 PM yesterday, near Hillcrest and Woodlawn Drive. When questioned by the officer, Lowery stated he had a PA system in his Jeep with a siren button. Officer Ervin smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle while speaking with Lowery, and searched the vehicle.
According to the police report, during the search a bong was located in the center console, as well as a bag containing a small amount of green leafy substance on the floor. Lowery was arrested for unlawful drug paraphernalia.
