Radio Greeneville spoke with Meteorologist Jeremy Buckles at the National Weather Service in Morristown regarding what’s expected in the county with the recent rain and snow.
Buckles said although this might be a light dusting in some areas the life threatening wind chills are to be considered. If you have to travel, he suggests thinking about essentials you may need worst-case scenario and to consider bringing an emergency kit in your vehicle.
The bulk of the snow has already moved out, with some on and off again flurries lingering.
Stay home if you can, stay warm, be safe when using alternate heat sources, and if you must leave your house, drive with caution.
