Tess Grizzle-Ramsey, age 42, of the Union Temple Community, passed away Monday evening at her home.
She was the daughter of the late J.C. and Ann Grizzle.
She was a volunteer for the Veterans Administration and a member of TAPS, serving as the grief counselor for East Tennessee. Tess loved animals, especially her faithful companion, Taco. She observed the Jewish faith.
Survivors include her partner and spouse of 22 years, Sarah Ramsey-Grizzle.
A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, July 26, from 5–7 p.m. at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
