Roy James Trivett, 80, of Greeneville, passed away Nov. 3, 2026.
He was born Dec. 21, 1945.
Roy was a machinist for most of his adult life. He retired in 2016 and moved from Texas to Greeneville with his wife to be closer to family in Tennessee and enjoy retirement.
Roy is survived by his wife of 61 years, Linda Trivett; daughters, Rhonda Gann (Michael) and Denise Mulloy (Paul); and son, Brian Trivett.
Grandchildren include Aaron Gann (Rebecca), Phillip Gann, Zada Gann, Annaliese Gann, Ryan Mulloy, Zoe Mulloy and Laurie Trivett.
He is also survived by his great-granddaughter, Emma Sprinkle, and her father, Ted Sprinkle; brother, Larry Trivett; sister, Judy Fitch; and many nieces and nephews.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Jaunita Trivett; brothers, Wayne, Robert and Roger; sister, Peggy Cardenas; and granddaughter, Jennifer Sprinkle.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Greeneville Community Hospital for all the care that was given.
Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026, at Jeffers Funeral Home in Afton.
