A man died after a one vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in the 100 block of Mount Hope Road in Greene County.
According the a Tennessee Highway Patrol report released Sunday afternoon, 52 year old James Hickman, originally from Cocke County, died after the 5:11 pm crash.
Hickman, the lone occupant of the 2022 Honda Civic, was not wearing a seat belt.
The report indicates his south bound car left the roadway, struck a fence then came to rest in a field.
In addition to the THP and Greene County Sheriff’s Department, several other emergency personnel responded to the scene.
