A man is facing aggravated assault and drug charges after an incident at a Chuckey residence on Thursday afternoon.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded around 1:00 PM and spoke with the victim, who said Dustin Strong became upset when she would not let him use her motorcycle and threatened her with a gun.
Strong had left the scene before law enforcement arrived, but was located a short time later. He was in possession of three handguns, a set of brass knuckles, a glass pipe, two butane lighters commonly used in smoking methamphetamine, and a small baggie containing two grams of what appeared to be meth. According to the report, he appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.
Strong was taken into custody for aggravated assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a handgun while under the influence, possession of a prohibited weapon, and the manufacture, delivery or sale of a controlled substance. He was also charged with violation of a restraining order due to having violent contact with the victim.
