The Greenville City Council will meet this afternoon and will discuss approving Special Event Requests to close streets for the Depot Street Farmers Market and for the Greene County Partnership to host a Mural Reveal at Frontier Health.
There is also an application to close portions of West Church Street for Main Street: Greeneville’s Lyrics on the Lawn. Additionally, a Special Event Sign Request will be considered for Kids Fishing Day on May 4th, 2024
Also on the agenda is consideration to purchase a mower for the Parks and Recreation Department, a fire attack hose for the Greeneville Fire Department, and a Ford F150 Supercab for the Landfill.
The meeting will be held at 4 PM this afternoon in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom in the Greeneville Energy Authority Building, located on North College Street. The Beer Board will meet following the City Council meeting.
