No one was injured, including nine children on board at the time when a Greene County school bus and car collided shortly before 4 Thursday afternoon on Gass Memorial Road near the Kingsport Highway intersection.
According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Subaru operated by 19 year old Jose’ Sanchez and the school bus operated by Kristine Quillen were negotiating a curve when they sideswiped. The children were placed on a different bus to continue their ride home. The bus involved in the wreck was driven back to the county bus garage while the car was towed from the scene.
