NOTICE OF SEWER REHABILITATION WORK
Project Update:
The construction phase on Charles Street and Tusculum Boulevard has been completed. These roads will remain open next week. Rehabilitation to the manholes and paving will take place; however, this work will be flagged and scheduled so that traffic flow is not affected.
Location:
Cleanup work will be performed in previously completed areas. No road closures are anticipated in these locations; traffic will be flagged to allow vehicles to pass safely. Work will occur along:
  • Charles Street
  • Doughty Avenue
  • W. McKee Street
  • Main Street
  • Kevin Lane
  • Elm Street
  • N. Main Street
Morgan Contracting will also mobilize to Tateho Drive. Due to the narrowness of this roadway, Tateho Drive will be closed to all traffic during the preparation and installation phases of the project.
Project Information:
Sewer rehabilitation work will begin on Monday, September 29, 2025, along the above-listed sections.
Project Timeline:
This phase of work is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
Traffic and Access Information:
  • Thru traffic will not be permitted in active work zones.
  • Residents and business patrons will maintain access to properties within the work zone.
  • Emergency vehicles will be provided access where possible.
Additional Information:
  • Work will progress in sections to minimize disruption.
  • The contractor will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and safely as possible.
  • Progress updates will be provided as the project moves forward.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to improve Greeneville’s infrastructure.
