A man called police to report he had been robbed by two men, just before midnight Friday.
The victim told officers he was loading his groceries into his vehicle, parked on the right side of the Food City building on Snapps Ferry Road.
Two unknown young males spoke up as they approached the victim. According to the report, the two men assaulted the victim, and hit him with a baseball bat. One of the men took the victim’s wallet out of his pocket, which contained around $2000, his ID, and credit cards.
The two men were reportedly driving a red Ford F250, “squatted” in the back. One man was described as having red hair and the other had brown hair.
