The Greeneville Police Department worked several vehicle crashes on Friday.
At 1:20 Friday A Ford F250 pulling a utility trailer, ran into the back of a Ford F150 pickup as it was stopped in traffic, in the 600 block of the Asheville Highway, near Idletime Drive.
There were no injuries. The Driver of the F250, Brandon Knipp was issued a citation for following too close.

Another wreck without injuries, occurred on the Asheville Highway in front of McDonalds around 3:45 Friday afternoon. A Dodge 150 Pickup made a wide turn out of the Food City parking lot and struck a Chevy Silvardo on the rear passenger side. The Silverado was driven from the scene, but the pickup’s driver did not have a driver’s license. The driver was issued a citation for no driver’s license and an improper turn.

At 11:30 Friday morning, a two-vehicle crash happened on East Church Street and West Barton Ridge Road, between a Subaru Forester and a Toyota S.U.V. Both vehicles were apparently damaged but drivable, and there were no injuries reported.

Just before 1:00 pm, a wreck happened on East Andrew Johnson Highway near Serral Drive. A 2017 Nissan Pickup rearended a 2021 Nissan Pickup. Both vehicles were damaged but drivable, and there were no injuries reported.

About 1:45 Friday afternoon, a 2014 Nissan truck ran into the rearend of 2029 Chevy Colorado on East Andrew Johnson Highway near Industrial Road. Both vehicles were damaged but drivable, and there were no injuries reported.
