A driver luckily escaped serious injury Tuesday afternoon after his vehicle left the roadway on Kingsport Highway and crashed into a house at the bottom of a hill.
The crash occurred just before 4:00 PM as the vehicle approached the 11-E intersection near Malones Wrecker Service.
The driver was transported by Greene County EMS to the hospital for what appeared to be minor injuries. Traffic in the area was not affected.
The Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department, Greene County EMS, and Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
