State Representative David Hawk of Greeneville has reached out to the Tennessee Department of Transportation about concerns of larger trucks on two lane state highways.
In a letter to Jay Klein who is the legislative liaison for this area with TDOT, Steve Borden, Region 1 Director for TDOT, and Dexter Justis, TDOT Region 1 Director of Project Management, Hawk addresses the Monday tractor trailer accident on the Rogersville Highway and other busy and dangerous roadways.

His letter requested information on accidents on state highways leading to and from I-81 in Greene County. Hawk also request input from those he wrote to about possible suggestions related to better safety measures on those state highways.
