A Chuckey man was arrested for aggravated assault following an incident on Sunday at a Corby Bridge Road residence.
Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Corby Bridge Road Sunday afternoon.
The victim reported that 20-year-old Jacob Allen McClanahan was upset about not being allowed to remove a dirt bike from the property. The altercation escalated to the point that he allegedly choked the victim.
McClanahan was transported to the Washington County Detention Center. He was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
