For a 1981 Greeneville High graduate who spent his earlier years cooking and working at Augustino’s in Greeneville, life as a restaurant owner is going well for Alan Raines.
And Friday night his El Tesoro Mexican restaurants, with two Atlanta locations, were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on the Food Network.
Raines says a chance meeting led to Guy Fieri featuring his restaurants on the show.
And Raines says Fieri was most impressed with the authenticity of the recipes.
