One person was charged early Sunday afternoon after Police responded to a call at Greeneville Terrace Apartments of a man possibly threatening someone with a knife.
Upon arrival at 406 Elk Street, Officer Matthew Stanley located 44 year old Quindell Elijah Fishburne of Roller Street, Greeneville, inside his girlfriends apartment. She reported he was intoxicated and had broken the back door of the residence to gain entry. The Police report also says he used a knife to cut up clothing, including some children’s clothing. A records check showed an order of protection previously in place in Charleston County, South Carolina.
Fishburne was arrested on a charge of aggravated domestic assault. Post Miranda, the report indicates he admitted to Office Stanley that he had been using cocaine within the past two hours. He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center without further incident.
