It will be a busy week in Downtown Greeneville as it pertains to Holiday traditions.
The Heritage Trust Annual dinner will be Thursday night at the General Morgan Inn
The Greeneville Greene County History Museum and Greeneville Youth Builders will co-host this year’s annual Santa’s Workshop Friday from 5 until 8 pm at the Museum 101 West McKee Street.
Christmas in Downtown will be Friday night from 6:00 until 9:00 PM featuring the lighting of the Christmas Tree in front of the Greene County Courthouse.
This years Greeneville Christmas Parade will be Sunday beginning at 2 pm
The Crockett Christmas celebration, a long time tradition at the David Crockett Birthplace State Park, will be held instead this year in downtown Greeneville.
The celebration will be from 3 until 5pm Sunday following the parade at the State of Franklin Cabin at 208 N. College St. across from Greeneville Town Hall.
The event is organized by The Friends of David Crockett State Park.
The Friends of the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site will be hosting the second annual Wreaths of Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday. This free event, open to the public, commemorates all veterans and will begin at 11:30 am.
