A oath and pinning ceremony was held Thursday for more than twenty members of the Greeneville Fire Department team.
The ceremony observed an oath of office and badge pinning for new firefighters who completed their graduation from the Northeast Tennessee Regional Fire Training Academy at the end of October and have recently been employed by the department.
Other Greeneville Fire Department firefighters, a portion of which have been with the company for years, also wanted to participate in the ceremony to publicly pledge their commitment to their duties and responsibilities as a officer.
Firefighters include: Zak Babb, Dustin Barr, Maurice Borunda-Reyes, Jordy Clark, Tim Frye, Spencer Hughes, Patrick Johnston, Brandon Kinser, Isaic Manis, Luke Myers, Steven Myers, Andrew Ruthven, Terry Rose, Steven Schrock, Kasey Seals, Gage Spano.
Officers include: Lieutenant Daniel Chandler, Captain James Foshie, Lieutenant Ryan Holt, Lieutenant Michael Kinser, Lieutenant Kendall Parman, Battalion Chief Eric Price, Captain Matthew Solomon, and Fire Marshal David Weems.
