A Mosheim man was arrested for DUI after wrecking his vehicle early Sunday on Little Chuckey Road.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene around 4:30 AM in the 2300 block of Little Chuckey Road. Carroll Coakley of Orebank Road reportedly drove into a ditch, causing his Jeep to roll onto the driver’s side.
Coakley was removed from the car. According to the report, he was checked by EMS and refused medical transport.
He had slurred speech and consented to field sobriety tests, on which he performed poorly. Coakley was then transported to the Greene County Detention Center for DUI 1st offense.
