The song Wagon Wheel, originally performed by the Old Crow Medicine Show in the early 70s, was recorded again by Darius Rucker in 2013.
Saturday , Rucker will be on the ETSU campus , and perform the song live at the end of the third quarter of the football game with Western Carolina. ETSU began playing the song , which mentions Johnson City in the lyrics, at the end of the third during home games earlier this season. Rucker’s live performance will take place inside William B. Greene Jr. Stadium. Game time is 12 Noon.
