The Town of Baileyton is advertising vacancies on its Board of Mayor and Aldermen and Planning Commission.
The Alderman position would complete the vacant term until the August, 2026 general election. Candidates must be 18 years of age and been a resident of the town for at least two years.
THe Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals position is an unpaid position that meets once per month. Candidates must be a member of the Baileyton community.
Applications for both positions must be turned in to Baileyton Town hall by Tuesday, November 12 at the close of business. Votes on the vacancies will take place during the Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting that night, with nominations accepted from the floor.
