Two accidents were reported this morning right after 7 AM.
One was reported around 7:08 AM on the 12,000 block of Asheville Highway and was reportedly blocking traffic at the time. At around 7:45 AM the Emergency Management Agency was requested to the scene due to a leak from a semi-truck that overturned. As of 8 AM the Asheville Highway was closed in both directions.
The other accident was reported at the Rheatown Road and East Andrew Johnson Highway intersection at 7 AM. Be careful during your commute and watch for emergency responders. Be aware for possible delays and consider an alternate route.
