A teenager was injured in a single-vehicle wreck Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 81 in Greene County.
The accident happened shortly before 3:00 PM in the southbound lanes around mile marker 20. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, the 17-year-old driver ran off the roadway to the left, striking a guardrail. The vehicle then came back across the lanes of travel and struck another guardrail.
The driver, who was not identified in the report due to being a juvenile, was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
