The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission will meet tomorrow morning and consider approving a site plan for a 72-unit apartment complex that will be located at 62 Harlan Street behind the Texas Roadhouse site.
The apartment complex was first brought up in May of 2023. Now the developers are hoping to move forward if they can get approval from the planning commission. The developers stated Greeneville has been high on their list for places in need of affordable housing. According to the agenda, the site plan indicates three buildings, each three stories high with associated parking, a community building, picnic pavilion, and playground. There is a proposed entrance coming from Harlan Street.
The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission will also consider granting Preliminary and Final approval for a plat showing the subdivision of 38 additional lots to the Johnson Farms Development. This is a continuation of the overall development and brings the total number of approved lots to 140.
The meeting begins at 9:30 AM and will be held in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom inside the Greeneville Energy Authority Building on 110 North College Street.
