A Shane Street woman reported someone stole her vehicle, dog and pistol early this morning.
The woman said she went to bed around 1:30 AM and woke up to the front door being shut about an hour later. She looked outside and saw the suspect had stolen her Chrysler minivan, pistol, purse, and her dog. The victim had let the suspect stay at her residence, but did not give him permission to take anything.
The suspect, who was named in the Greene County Sheriff’s Department report, has an active warrant and will additionally be charged with theft.
