The Greene County Partnership will be hosting the Annual Legislative Luncheon on Friday, March 8, the event will take place from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Tusculum University in the Chalmers Conference Room. Summers Taylor Inc. is once again the sponsor of this year’s community event.
Guests are invited to enjoy a buffet lunch commencing at 11:30 AM, followed by a forum featuring area legislators, including State Representative David Hawk and State Senator Steve Southerland. Notable updates from local government officials, including Greene County Mayor Kevin Morrison and Greeneville Mayor Cal Doty, will also be shared. Representatives from Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger’s office, Senator Bill Hagerty’s office, and Senator Marsha Blackburn’s office will also be present to deliver statements and address questions.
This engaging forum will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear personal statements from legislators and participate in a Q&A session, time permitting.
The event is open to the public, with tickets priced at $20 per person, payable in advance. Reservations must be made or canceled by Monday, March 4, at 5:00 PM. Individuals who reserve tickets are kindly asked to honor their commitment or cancel before the deadline to avoid being charged.
