The Greeneville City School Board meets this afternoon and will consider approving the High School Landscaping Project for a cost of almost $47,000.
According to the agenda, Greeneville High School campus was designed with a landscaping scope that requires professional planning and services to preserve, protect, and improve. A comprehensive landscaping plan was developed by Hedstrom Landscape Architecture, a professional firm in Knoxville. The project’s long-term process consists of updating, replacing, and adding plantings and other components. Funds will be used through Capital Funds.
Other items on the agenda consist of special recognition for students, consideration to approve multiple policy revisions, school trips, School Nutrition Equipment purchases, the 2024 Greeneville City Schools Employee Handbook, as well as approval for furniture selected by teachers. The furniture if approved will be purchased for about $31,500 for the Career Exploration and Career Lab Class.
The board will meet at 5 PM at the Kathryn W. Leonard Administrative Office, located on 129 West Depot Street.
