A freeze warning will be in effect from 9:00 PM tonight until 11:00 AM Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service in Morristown, unseasonably cold temperatures are expected tonight with a low around 23. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
Later this week, after a brief warm-up Thursday and Friday, there is another cold front coming that will sweep across the region Friday night with a return of unseasonably cold temperatures this weekend. A hard freeze is expected for Saturday and Sunday nights.
