A power loss inside the Takoma Medical Group building on East Vann Road Wednesday morning resulted in one person being stuck in an elevator for a short time until emergency personnel arrived.
A Greeneville Fire Department report indicates Engine 2, Tower 1, and Battalion 1 all responded along with the Greeneville Emergency and Rescue Squad to the 9:20 am call.
Emergency personnel confirmed there was at least one occupant in an elevator. After securing the power to both elevators, crews found one of the elevator cars stuck between floors 2 and 3, containing one female occupant. Crews were able to remove the woman and then verified there were no other occupants in the second elevator car.
Units cleared the scene shortly before 10:00 am.
