Greene County Solid Waste management reported a woman came to their Greystone Convenience Center site last week and put several items in her vehicle before leaving.
Deputies spoke with the Assistant Director who said the woman came with a gray SUV pulling a small trailer. She reportedly unloaded a coach into a bin, then took various items and placed them in her vehicle. The complainant said she then made her way to the scrap metal area, removed various metal items and also placed them in her SUV.
When confronted by an employee, she allegedly immediately became loud, began yelling and cursed at the employee. According to the report, the woman said she would not put anything back, would continue to take whatever she wanted because she pays taxes and no one could stop her. She was asked to leave and not come back, and did leave shortly after taking more items.
That value of items taken was not known at the time of the report. Deputies attempted to run the handicap license plate of 98663 but were unsuccessful.
