A Greeneville woman has been charged with Assault against a First Responder or Nurse after an incident in the Greeneville Community Hospital Emergency Room around 5 pm Tuesday.
Greeneville Police responded to the hospital ER where they met a hospital Security Officer and the nurse. According to the nurse, while conversing with Taylor Atnip, Atnip unprovoked, slapped her on the face. The nurse had a visible red mark on the side of her face. Atnip of Gatewood Road was in the hospital for a mental health evaluation. After being medically cleared, she was taken into custody on assault charges related to the altercation.
