A woman was arrested after she was evading an officer Sunday evening.
The woman, Ashley Phipps, was seen driving by the officer on Housely Avenue. The officer allegedly recognized her and knew she had a Violation of Probation, so he initiated a traffic stop. Phipps reportedly did not stop, drove through grass and ran a stop light before the pursuit was terminated on Baileyton Road.
She was charged with Felony Evading, Driving on Revoked, and Running a Stop Sign.
