A Greeneville woman was charged with burglary following an incident at an Old Mine Road residence.
The victims reported to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department they left their home Tuesday around 10:30 PM. When they returned around 8:00 Wedesday morning, they found Ariana M. Garber of Curtis Street walking out of the residence with several of the victims’ belongings. She was also wearing clothing belonging to one of the victims.
According to the report, Garber took a shower in the home, rummaged through drawers in the bedroom, left a needle on the bed, and went through clothes in laundry baskets that were folded. She also went through toolboxes in the garage and pulled a chainsaw out onto the middle of the floor.
Garber was placed in custody and became irate in the cruiser. She reportedly kicked the door on the back passenger side so much that the top of the door now sticks out.
Garber was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for burglary, vandalism, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A trespass warning was given to Garber and she was told not to return to the property.
