A Greeneville woman was arrested for public intoxication at a gas station on Thursday.
An officer with the Greeneville Police Department responded to the Shell station on Tusculum Boulevard around 5:30 PM on the report of a woman yelling at people in the parking lot.
Teresa Banks of Highway 70 Bypass was found kneeling in the parking lot screaming and said she was the chosen one. Banks reportedly told the officer she is a meth user.
She was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for public intoxication.
