WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM WEDNESDAY
According to the National Weather Service, accumulating snowfall is expected in the higher elevations of East Tennessee tonight. Snow is expected with total accumulations of 1 to 3 inches above 2,500 feet. More than 3 inches is possible above 4,000 feet.
Accumulating snowfall will continue into Wednesday for the mountains. Otherwise, the probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.
