A Winter Storm Advisory will be in effect for Northwest Greene, which includes Greeneville, from 11 this morning through this evening.
Widespread snow showers are expected this afternoon, with periods of reduced visibility in snow squalls. Most areas will receive less than an inch, but some narrow bands of 1 to 2 inches could occur.
