For those of you from out of town visiting the area for the Andrew Johnson Bank Ladies Classic who thought the weather the past few days was normal…not so much.
Highs climbing to around 70 in some areas since late last week have already given way to wind and rain on this Monday with a Wind Advisory in effect until 4 this afternoon.
The National Weather Service Office in Morristown is projecting West winds 15 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 35 miles per hour between now an sundown.
The temperature locally, which began the morning around 60, will fall throughout the day to just above freezing by 4pm. The overnight low tonight will drop to about 19 with a high Tuesday of only near freezing, but no snow is in the immediate forecast for the week ahead.
