If you are dreaming of a white Christmas, you might want to move a bit more to the north.
The National Weather Service office in Morristown, six days from the big event, is calling for partly sunny next Thursday with a high of 64. As a matter of fact, after a high in the low 40s today, highs moving forward beginning Saturday through late next week are projected in the 50s.
While many of us tried to sleep overnight, a severe thunderstorm warning was issued around 11:30 pm, with heavy wind and rain moving through the area. The warning was cancelled at around 3:15, followed by a wind advisory which expired at 4 am.
