While flags are at half staff due to the murder of conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, today September 11 will forever remain a day to remember.

Radio Greeneville News spent some time Wednesday getting comments about that fateful day from many we see and/or speak with in our day-to-day activities.

The question “where were you on that day” brought up various responses and memories.

Greene County Sessions Judge Ken Bailey was a first year practicing attorney in 2001 and was in a Jefferson County courtroom that morning.  Bailey headed back home when court was adjourned for the day without reason.  He found out on his radio car what had happened, and says he couldn’t get home quickly enough.
