The second installment of the event “What Your Kids Don’t Want You To Know” will be presented tonight at Towering Oaks Baptist Church.
There will be several topics relating to the current issues in society involving drugs and what is currently occurring in schools. Current issues in social media will focus on what staff and teachers are facing in schools as far as apps available, the way kids hide photo’s, suggestions on what to do in these times, and help parents answer the question of when a kid should have a phone. Topics discussed will also include what is expected for the future in regards to Delta’s 8,9,10 and how they came about.
There will be a discussion on current issues in Mental Health and parents will be introduced to all school based mental health professionals. Students at Towering Oaks Christian School will present a skit/play. Organizations will have tables with information that parents can look over.
