Police were called to Greeneville Community Hospital Saturday evening by hospital security, who stated a woman was in the lobby and refused to leave. Hospital employees told police that Diana Scott had been treated and released but refused to leave the property. Scott refused to leave when asked by officers, she was placed into custody for criminal trespassing, and taken to the Greene County Detention Center. Scott had been arrested for criminal trespassing before in September 2024.

Police were dispatched to the Dollar General on West Main Street Friday for reported shoplifting.
An employee at the store told officers, a man put multiple items in a basket and walked past all points of sale without paying. Items stolen included a blue portable speaker valued at $30, and the basket itself, valued at $20.

A man wanted on a Violation of Probation Warrant was arrested Saturday afternoon. Kristopher Carpenter was spotted at East Bernard Avenue and Tusculum Boulevard, where he was taken into custody
