A malfunctioning water heater resulted in fire at a Fairfield Drive residence evening.
Units from the Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department responded to the 8:45 pm call. The unit caught fire, but power was cut off before the fire spread.
Damage was limited to the water heater, according to a report from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
