Warrants were issued for a man who fled from officers Monday morning at the Chuckey Pike and Charles Johnson Road intersection.
Deputies spotted a vehicle after 1 AM that made a turn without a turn signal. Lights and sirens were initiated by the deputy when they driver allegedly drove off at a high rate of speed. According to the report, after a short period of time the suspect went off the left side of the road due to missing a turn, and down an embankment.
A passenger in the vehicle was seen trying to get out and was detained at that time. The report states after an investigation the alleged suspect, Michael Hill, took off on foot. He was found to have outstanding warrants in other counties and a revoked license.
The passenger was released and checked by EMS. Warrants were taken out for Hill for Felony Evading, Revoked Licenses, and Leaving the Scene of Accident.
