A warrant arrest was made after a traffic stop Friday night.
At around 11:30 PM Friday, officers observed a dark blue Honda SUV, which tag showed not to be on file through State records.
After a traffic stop, the driver, Travis Greene of Jonesborough, could not produce proof of registration and reportedly informed officers he did not have a valid license. According to the statement, Greene said he had just bought the vehicle on Thursday with no title or bill of sale.
It was found that Greene had a current warrant for Violation of Probation Second Offense out of Greene County. A record check showed that Greene had a suspended license, and no current insurance on the vehicle.
He was placed under arrest and transported to the Greene County Jail without incident.
