Emergency personnel responded to a call at 5:08 am today on Blue Springs Parkway at Emerald Road where a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
There were no apparent injuries but the SUV caught fire and was fully engulfed when Town of Mosheim firefighters arrived just minutes later and quickly extinguished the blaze.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department and Greeneville Energy Authority also responded.
