A Greeneville man reported a vehicle stolen between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
The victim told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department he had just purchased a 1995 Jeep Cherokee. He parked the vehicle Tuesday night at a shop in the 3600 block of Blue Springs Parkway because it needed a new rear end. He discovered Wednesday morning the vehicle had been taken. The victim said the Jeep must have been towed off the property because of mechanical issues.
The Jeep is valued at $2,500. There were no known suspects at the time of the report.
