A man is facing charges after allegedly vandalizing a door at a gas station.
A deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Marathon Quick Stop Market in the 6000 block of West Andrew Johnson Highway Saturday morning. At around 12:30 AM, the suspect, who appeared to be under the influence, entered the gas station and purchased a 12-pack of an alcoholic beverage. The employee reported the man then kicked the door open, breaking the glass. The incident was captured on the store’s security camera.
The suspect, who was named to police, then got into a dark blue Jeep and left.
Damage was estimated at $1,000.
